Israeli research: dim lights a few hours before you go to sleep and make sure your bedroom is super dark - this can cut breast cancer risk by %31. (Darkness triggers the brain to produce melatonin which helps you sleep and also causes breast cancer cells to self-destruct. as reported in Woman's World Magazine 11/5/12

Nutrition:

American Journal of Clinical Nutrition: omen who eat lots of fruits and vegetables have a 30% lower risk of breast cancer compared to women who eat little or no fresh produce. as reported in woman's world Magazine 10/29/12

Green tea: reduces production of estradiol - a breast-irratating form of estrogen. as reported in Woman's World Magazine 11/5/12
Garlic: the sulfur in garlic destroys up to 98% of abnormal breast cells on contact. as reported in Woman's World Magazine 11/5/12
Beta-carotene: women with the highest blood levels of beta-carotene are 50% less likely to develop breast cancer. as reported in Woman's World Magazine 9/17/12 Foods high in beta-carotenes - sweet potatoes, kale, carrots, turnip greens, mustard greens, spinach, dried herbs, butternut squash, lettuce, collards
