So my library closed because of the Coronavirus and these are the books I get to keep, lol.
- American Dirt "American Dirt just gutted me, and I didn't just read this book―I inhabited it….Everything about this book was so extraordinary. It's suspenseful, the language is beautiful, and the story really opened my heart. I highly recommend it, and you will not want to put it down. It is just a magnificent novel." ―Oprah
- Toward a Zero Energy Home: A Complete Guide to Energy Self-Sufficiency at Home I love this book! 5 stars! I am determined to learn energy self-sufficiency and this is exactly the book I needed that gives an overview. The first chapter is on "your envelope" - this is exactly where I was going to start before I got this book and OF COURSE they address your envelope in the first chapter because it's where you start! What a relief for me to find this book.
- The Green Self-Build Book: How to design and build your own eco-home This is a beautiful book and thorough.
- Homemade Money: How to Save Energy and Dollars in Your Home This book goes over things like windows, appliances. Easy to read. Recommended. I see it was donated to my library by our local Backwoods Solar. Cool.
- Natural Beauty at Home: More Than 250 Easy-to-Use Recipes for Body, Bath, and Hair this book has everything from shampoo and mouthwash to face masks and lip gloss. I want to learn to make an aloe vera gel with tea tree oil like the one I use that has been discontinued. There are other fun recipes here that I want to try. Good Coronavirus self-quarantine projects.
