This is the story about Gerald and Sara Murphy, expatriate Americans who moved to the French Riviera and became friends with Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, Jean Cocteau, Pablo Picasso, Cole Porter among others. They made life a work of art but they also faced great tragedy with courage. They invented sunbathing.
